Component Engineer Support Specialist
Basic Qualifications :
Requires a Bachelors or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience).
Requires an additional 5
years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3
years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities for this Position:
Seeking a Component Engineer Support Specialist with working knowledge of Electrical and Electronic components, as well as some basic knowledge of mechanical components and materials.
Participate in design development teams including part selection.
Candidate will need to be an independent self-starter with an attention to detail and possess strong communications skills as well as the ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks and problems centered around parts and material issues.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.

Technical knowledge of Electronic and Mechanical hardware and Materials used in manufacture of Interstellar space, undersea, cyber, RF applications and everything in between.

Technical reviews and supports New Part Requests and creates/validates part information using product lifecycle tools such as PTC Windchill PDM Link Experience working with suppliers to understand End-Of-Life and obsolescence parts issues Experience with BOM (Bill of Material) development and management for developmental and production programs.
