Basic QualificationsDoD SkillBridge Eligibility:

Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.
S.
Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.
S.
citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this PositionNOTE:
This is an internship for a departing military employee, not for a student in college.
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
Intern program participants will receive training and job-shadowing opportunities to gain skills associated with the role of Electrical Engineer Military SkillBridge Internship for Undersea and Telecom Systems.
Participants could expand or refresh their skills in Analog Circuit Design, Mixed Signal, Circuit Card Assembly Design and Hardware Testing and Troubleshooting while supporting development of products for defense.
This program provides a comprehensive internship experience including professional development, networking with leadership, and training specifically focused on GDMS leadership expectations, company history, customer / stakeholder engagement, product and service overview, and core job responsibilities.
